About Us

Greetings!

Welcome to St. Mary’s County Youth Organization (SMCYO), formerly SMCTBYO. We are a co-ed nonprofit organization, that has served our community for over 40 years. We provide T-ball and Baseball for youth ages 4 thru 15 in one of our multiple divisions. Divisions are aged based while also allowing children to be moved up or down based on experience and abilities. New for 2025 will be girls softball ages 6-9!!

Online Spring registration begins November 15th and runs through mid February. If you are unable to register online please contact us [email protected] for information.

SMCYO currently covers the northern to middle portion of St. Mary’s County Maryland. Our games and Practices are held Monday thru Saturday. Days are determined by the division your child is registered in.

Players only need to provide their own glove and either tennis shoes or RUBBER cleats, NO METAL CLEATS. Parents are welcome to purchase their own bats or helmets, however SMCYO will not be responsible for any damage to personal equipment. We recommend that you label your players equipment with their name. SMCYO will provide each player with a team shirt and hat. Coaches will be issued all other necessary equipment. (i.e. bats and helmets).
